In December of 2000, Mrs. Harmon left the service center to form Reinhart Education Resources (Now Texas Literacy Resources). Currently the staff of TLR consists of 3 highly qualified consultants who work with Mrs. Harmon to provide professional learning opportunities for school districts/campuses throughout the United States.
Professional Teaching Resources include books and materials from Carson Dellosa, Creative Teaching Press, Heinemann, Steck-Vaugh, and Scholastic just name a few. Our goal is to help busy teachers and administrators find what they need quickly and as economically as possible. We offer discounts on most of the resources we stock.

Kelly Harmon, President and CEO

Reaching learners with diverse needs has been a passion-turned-career for Kelly Harmon. Mrs. Harmon believes learning should be exciting and joyful for all learners, not just the ones who fit the mold of “good student.” Through interactive workshops, conferences, and long-term technical assistance, Mrs. Harmon helps educators connect with their learners’ natural learning modalities, curiosities, strengths, and deficiencies. Each learner counts and because of that every child deserves an educational experience designed specifically to meet their needs. Knowing that the way to a child’s mind is through their heart, Mrs. Harmon designs literacy programs that relates research and practice to the interests, cultural background, and needs of the learners.
Sandra McDonald

Mrs. McDonald is a highly experienced teacher and dynamic presenter. She recently retired from Northeast Independent School District after 30+ years of teaching in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. She believes it is our mission as teachers to know the whole child and to meet each child’s individual needs. Her vast experience with the Four Blocks Literacy Model and working with learning disabled children in co-teach classrooms allows her to mentor teachers as a literacy coach and seminar leader for many Texas elementary campuses.
Debbie Finger

Debbie Finger brings her 28 years of classroom teaching experience, ranging from kindergarten to middle school, as well as simultaneously wearing the hats of responsibility for students from ESL to GT. During her career she developed classroom routines and adapted programs and teaching strategies to effectively reach all students, even in the most diverse populations, and guide them to consistently higher achievement levels. She was an effective leader in “no child left behind” years before the idea got a name. She now brings her enthusiasm and her dedication to learning along with her expertise, and her keen ability to adapt teaching strategies to a new level of learners – educators who are searching for the satisfaction of leading today’s students to success.
